Good Ol' Cuba Road

It was a cold night in January. A bunch of friends and I were bored and decided to take a little drive up to Cuba Road, not 20 minutes away from the town we live in. After packing a Jeep Liberty with about 10 people, we get up there and go down the "forbidden" Rainbow Road. We all know all the supposed horror stories and spent the drive laughing about them.

We pull onto Rainbow Road and after about 5 minutes we notice a side road not very well named and a lake behind it. We take a turn down the road and turn the headlights off to see if anything can be seen. After driving down for about 10 minutes and not seeing anything, we turn the headlights back on to see where we can turn around to get back on the main road. As we turn the headlights back on, my friend, the driver, slams on the brakes and a few of my friends started screaming. I looked at what they saw and there were two bunnies hanging off a tree, alive.

We turned around and got back on the main road, but we weren't done finding scary stuff. We stop at a stop sign, and right next to us is a small forest. My friend opens the window to take a picture of the forest, because the trees were huge. He snapped a picture, and we all gathered to look on the digital camera to see what it looked like. All we could see were eyes glowing back from the trees. We opened the doors, and got out and looked around, and we heard footsteps sounding like they were running away. We snapped another picture in that direction, only to see very small glimpses of children running down the path.

Not thinking this was enough to scare us, we pile back into the car and head to the haunted silo. It's in a forbidden area, so we drive down, and drop off a bunch of my friends to observe and take pictures. Me and my friend who is driving, drive ahead to go wait on the main road. My phone rings about 10 minutes later, telling us to come back. We go back to get them and my friend Alex is sprawled out on the ground, after tripping over a bloody stake. She was alright, and we all got back in the car, and as were driving away one of the old houses in that area went completely dark. No one lives there, as it's a house being restored. But all the lights were on just seconds before.

Kinda freaked, we pulled over to look at the pictures of the silo and the old house. My friend was stupid enough to break the door down and go inside to take pictures and we noticed strange carvings and paintings with black charcoal and lots of blood. Little bones were all over the ground, and bloody rope was hanging from the ceiling. Pretty creepy.

The pictures of the house were most surprising. The house looked normal, but if you zoomed in, a womans face could be seen in the top left hand window of the house, and she was pointing to her left with a very angry face. Luckily, my friend snapped a picture that was to her left, and there showed two ghostly figures, one a man, one a woman, and they were both hanging from the tree.

We turned around to head home, figuring that was enough. As we pass the Rainbow Road sign we decide to take a picture of it to remember the night. After the picture is taken, we all look at it, and the letters had turned red, and there was a little symbol in the left hand corner of the sign, that was not there before. It was a tiny bridge, with people hanging off it, bleeding. We needed to pass a bridge to get back home, so we were nervous. As we passed the bridge we turned the music down and listened. We heard sounds of rope being tied under the bridge and the whole car became ice cold. We all did get pretty freaked out, and it surprised us that we could actually get scared by a place like that.
