Changing Destiny

My name is Mandie and this is the story of a ghost. You may find it scary, I'm not very easily scared though.
I live in Georgia, right near Atlanta, and you don't really think about ghosts much there....usually...
One day we went to vacation at a nearby beach. We had a great time and bought lots of stuff. While we were there we took a bunch of pictures. One was of the plain old beach at night. I was the only one there when I took the picture, I could swear. It was a graceful picture, the water didn't have many waves and it was very clear. There were no lights behind the ocean or around it. The only light was the stars and the camera flash. I took a couple of pictures.
It was strange, though, on the first one I took it almost looked like there was a person standing about ten feet away. On the second one it seemed a person was only five feet away, and on the third one right up to my face.
I lost my breath on the third picture, and almost screamed. But when I checked the area afterwards there was nothing and nobody else there. I calmed down and decided that I was just imagining stuff because it was dark. I've read a lot of scary stories though and should've known that wasn't it.
The next three days I kept feeling like someone was watching me, and I'll admit I felt freezing cold, too. After three days I got the pictures back. I looked at them and couldn't breathe. There I saw what I thought was a girl, around my age, her face and ribs were crushed and squished, there was blood everywhere and she was all twisted up. I also saw bloody car tracks on the sand. This girl had been runover, probably by a drunk driver.
I showed my family and all they saw was me standing there smiling. I tried to figure out what this meant but I couldn't.
The day we were going to leave the beach, a car came rushing through the shore. I stared in shock as it raced toward me, I couldn't help it, I understood what it meant. As I was about to face destiny when my dad pulled me out of the way. I guess you can change destiny because when I looked at the same pictures afterwards, all I saw was the calm, still beach.
