the unexpected visit

one nite while i was watching tv my friend called and said to come over rite away(her parents were gone so i figured she was afraid or something). she lives across the street from me, and anywayz, when i got there, the door was locked and i heard a scream that sounded like my friend, there was a lite on in the top window of her house, where her bedroom is and i new something was going on so i went around baq were i usually sneek in when im bored...normally when im grounded too...and when i got in, i still saw the lite from upstairs and i walked up there after i grabbed a knife for protection and saw the weirdest/scariest thing ever...an guy was standing over my friends bed with a long knife, not like a sword, but wat looked to be a very long kitchen nife and he was singing hush little baby ... ya no tha lullaby... and that freaked me out, but then i saw my friends feet at the end of the bed and i got soo scared. (at this point i was behind her bathroom door across her room but out of site) the guy looking to be atleast 6 foot 3 with a long jacket on started walking down the hall and then down stairs and out the door staggering down the stairs. when he was gone, i ran to my friend and saw that she had not been hurt but terribly shocked...she told me that the guy there had intended to kill her and that he had escaped from jail (he had killed his wife and kids which i no that cuz i read it in the newspaper a long time ago) and then all of the sudden >while he was singing the lullaby< he stabbed himself and walked out. my friend was in so much shock that she had almost died. the next day,that nite i had slept over at her house to keep her company, i woke up and went to the kitchen and i saw the knife the guy had last nite, freaking out i called the police and told them the story and they just paused and...they said they had caught the guy sneaking out of jail a couple days ago and he wouldnt stop so they had to shoot him, and he died . . . later i was looking at the old newspaper article about the guy i had seen, or thought i had seen and i read that a witness of the murder had heard him singing a lullaby while he was killing his wife and kids. im not sure wat i or my friend saw but i noe it is true...this was about 5 years ago and i just now have started talking about it. noe one has believed me since.
