August 30th, 2010Spook House Dave!SPOOK HOUSE DAVE! has joined the virtual ranks of some of the funniest stars in show biz – A-list comedy talent like Harry Shearer, Sarah Silverman, David Cross, Will Arnett and many others. That's because SPOOK HOUSE DAVE! is now being featured on the award-winning online comedy network, MY DAMN CHANNEL (www.mydamnchannel.com/spookhousedave).
That's right. This summer, SPOOK HOUSE DAVE! was handpicked to become MY DAMN CHANNEL's first-ever family-friendly video series, and so far, the response and reviews have been exciting.
Check out the recent review from internet television guide, Clicker.com:
"Spook House Dave: Did somebody say puppets? This show is flat out adorable; a major throw-back to a time when puppetry reigned as a family favorite. Spook House Dave, a show about a kid named Dave who lives in a house with a whole bunch of friendly monsters, doesn’t take the modern approach to kids programming, wherein each episode has a massive lesson or moral – and this is probably why I love it so much. Yes, life lessons are important, but so is having fun. Spook House Dave knows how to play, and for that reason I think it’s got a shot at attracting a pretty expansive audience."
ABOUT SPOOK HOUSE DAVE!
Spook House Dave! is a sweet and creepy puppet series about a young boy named Dave who
just happens to be living with a not-so-frightening family of monsters. No “real” parents under this
haunted castle’s roof: just a vampire, a witch, a werewolf, a mummy, and a big green monster –
all bumbling together to help a 12-year-old make his way in the big scary world. Produced by
Dragonfruit Studios, Spook House Dave! was created by Lucky Yates, Melissa Honabach, and
Michael Koziol and features a talented team of writers, puppeteers, and improv comedians.
