Axman Prologue
Posted by YaoiXFangirl

Okay, first, I'm just signed up for this site, but I love it! I loved reading all the stories on here. Anyway, I'm into writing and i want to be an author soon I hope, so I decided to put the prologue for my second story "The Axman".

Jeph Anderson was walking home late that night. He had his backpack over his shoulder and was walking away from the video store, where he worked. He didn’t like working there. But he didn’t want to stay home; besides, he had met Linda there. Linda. She came to Jeph’s mind and heart. He had loved her so much, thought she was the most beautiful person in the world. She had long black hair that went past her shoulders, but not too long, beautiful brown eyes always surrounded by her eyeliner, black lips that seemed more beautiful when she smiled than frowned, and tanish looking skin that had a nice glow to it. Yes, she was drop dead beautiful. Jeph remembered how he had met her. It was very late, a few minutes before the store was closing. The only customer in there was Linda. Jeph didn’t know she was in there until she came up to him and asked if they had a horror movie she had been dying to see. She was very Goth and sexy looking that night. Black leather mini skirt, fishnet tights, hooker boots, and a tight leather top. Jeph got the movie for her, but she didn’t leave, instead they started talking about horror movies. Their favorites and non-favorites. Then it was time to close up. But after that, Jeph saw Linda everyday. They had a secret relationship, because they knew no one would understand or care. They had a lot in common. They were both home schooled, and didn’t get out much. Until that one day at the video store. Jeph thought it was destiny that brought them together. But if destiny brought them together, it also tore them apart.
Jeph remembered. He had come home after work a couple of months ago, then he heard the scream coming from the basement. He dropped his backpack and ran down the steps. He gasped at first when he saw him. His father. Mr. Anderson was known for being a psycho, and Jeph knew he was more than anyone. They called him Axman because he pretty much always had an ax with him. Jeph’s knees shook as he fell on them, his hands at his sides; he stared wide eyed at what he saw. Linda. She was lying on the floor in a pool of blood around her. Buried deep in her chest was his father’s ax. Fresh blood dripped from the ax and down over her chest and made a small trail of blood into the puddle.
Jeph’s father pulled the ax out of her body then dragged Linda’s body up the stairs.
Now, Jeph stopped, thinking about it. But he knew he couldn’t. He didn’t know what his father did with the body, but Jeph never saw it again after that, anyway. He wanted to stop working at the video store, but he forced himself to keep working there. He wanted to remember the good times he had had with Linda there, even if it was painful to remember. Jeph slowed down his pace, knowing he was getting closer to the woods, where he lived, and his small Victorian house. A small breeze came and moved Jeph’s long black hair. He could feel his green eyes fill with tears as he remembered Linda.

While Jeph was making no effort to get home any time soon, he had no idea his mother and three sisters were about to face their death.
Mr. Anderson had just had a fight with his wife; he was so pissed off he decided to kill her. He went down to the basement and pulled on his old black jumpsuit and then pulled off his hockey mask, which he had been wearing after his face got burned badly. His face was scarred and bruised very badly, his teeth were crooked and had a yellowish color, his eyes were a weird yellowish brown, and his chin was disfigured and stuck out on one side, making his teeth more noticeable. He picked up his ax, which he left at the bottom of the stairs, and went upstairs to his wife’s bedroom.
He slowly opened the door, and saw Mrs. Anderson sitting the bed, reading a novel. She looked up and cried out when she saw Mr. Anderson. She tried to move, tried to run, but she couldn’t help stare at her husbands eyes. They seemed to hold her in place. Then he came at her.
He lifted his ax and swung it down on her arm. Her arm fell onto the floor, the stump of where it was squirting blood onto the bed sheets, floor, and some even got on the wall. She cried out from the pain, howled like a dog, actually. Mr. Anderson cut off her other arm, blood spewing out in almost every direction and spilling onto the floor and bed. He then chopped off her legs and cut her head off.
He heard a scream behind him. He turned around quickly in time to see his sixteen-year-old daughter, Natasha, and his seven-year-old daughter, Emma, run out of the room. He didn’t go after them, instead he got the blood soaked sheets and stuffed them with Mrs. Anderson’s body parts, but he did it slowly, taking his time.
Natasha and Emma ran into Jeph’s room and locked the door. They decided to hide in his closet. So they hid in it and made sure the door was locked and their father couldn’t open it. By now, Emma was sobbing loudly, asking why did Dad kill Mom? Natasha did her best to calm her sister down, but it wasn’t working. Then they heard the footsteps, that’s when Emma kept quiet. They heard a hoarse whispery laugh. It sended chills down their backs as they heard his footsteps coming closer. It made thier hearts pund faster than ever, kowing he was right out there and any mniute could brake the door down and kill them.
Everything was silent for a few seconds, except for the sound of their heavy breatthing and hearts pounding. Then the door opened, when they swore they locked it. They screamed. Natasha told Emma to run, and Emma did as she was told. Right after she made it past her father, he lifted the ax and brought it down in Natasha’s head. Blood ran down her forehead, and splattered on the walls and whatever of Jeph’s clothes.
Emma didn’t even make it to the stairs when her Dad caught her. He picked her up. Emma squirmed in his arms ot get free, but his was so much stronger than the seven-year old. She cried so loudly while trying to kick herself free, but no luck. He lifted her up high then brought her down on his knee. He heard her back bone break, and enjoyed listening to the sound of how it cracked. He dropped her onto the floor. Then brought the ax deep into her chest, causing a puddle of blood to fall down the stairs. Then he picked her up and threw her over the banister. He heard her body hit the hard living room floor with a loud splat and crack noise.
Smiling to himself, he picked up his ax and headed back for Jeph’s room. As quietly as he could he opened the door that led to Jeph’s bathroom. Through the shower curtain, Mr. Anderson could see his other sixteen year old daughter, Cassidy, through the curtain in the bathtub. He culd hear the shower running, but poor Cassidy couldn't hear her father getting closer behind her.
As quietly as he could he crept up to the curtain and pulled it back in the blink of an eye.
Cassidy tunred around in shock and anger, only to she stared wide eyed at the ax her father was holding. She opened her mouth and screamed as Mr. Anderson started slicing at her. The water turned bloody as he cut her to peices. A few minutes later Cassidy just laid there in the bathtub, the shower water running down on her dead body, washing away the blood. Mr. Anderson picked up his ax, smiling, thinking, four down one to go, while reaching a hand out and turning off the shower.

Jeph was standing in front of his house. He had heard all the screams. By now he knew they were all dead. It was kind of obvious from the silence of the house. He didn’t want to go inside, but he knew he had to. He had to face his father. For killing Linda and his mother and sisters. He wanted to kill his father so badly. He knew it would be hard, though. His father could withstand just about any hit.
Jeph took a deep breath and went up the front steps of the porch and opened the door. He entered the house to darkness and silence. He was expecting this. He stood a the bottom of the steps and stared up. All of a sudden, something started rolling down the stairs. It landed at Jeph’s feet. He stared down at it. He had to squint through the darkness to see it. And when he did he cried out.
It was an arm. A real human arm caked with dried-but still fresh-blood.
Jeph almost fell backward. He thought he was going to be sick. He looked up at the top again and saw another arm tumbling down the stairs. It landed in front of him also. Next came a leg, then another leg. Jeph swallowed hard. Then he saw it. His mother’s head tumbled down the stairs. When it landed it stared up at him. The eyes were closed but the mouth was hanging open in a silent scream.
Jeph couldn’t take. He was now extremely pissed and yet terrified. He looked up angrily at the stairs to see his father coming down, the ax raised and ready to strike Jeph.
Jeph gritted his teeth and said, “You want me you son of a bitch, then come and get me,” he ran to the basement door, but he saw Emma’s body on the floor. Knowing there was nothing he could do about it now, he ran down the basement steps, trying to ignore the fact his innocent seven-year old younger sister was dead. He looked around for a good hiding place. He saw the old Grandfather clock. It was very heavy and big, it would hide him perfectly, and he had a plan. Hearing his father’s footsteps above him, Jeph hide behind the Grandfather clock and listened. He heard the door open and slow footsteps. He could hear his father coming closer. He heard the footsteps stop at the bottom of the stairs with a loud thump of his boots. After a moment of silence Mr. Anderson's feet started moving to the Grandfather clock. When Jeph knew he was right in front of the clock, he leaned forward and pushed it as hard as he could, putting ever bit of strength into it. It tipped over and landed on Mr. Anderson with a loud crash. His ax fell from his hand and scarpped across the floor enough so he couldn't reach it without standing up.
Jeph ran and grabbed it as Mr. Anderson stood up. With everything he had, Jeph swung the ax and it hit Mr. Anderson right in the middle of his chest. He fell backward and tripped over the Grandfather clock. A trail of blood ran down the front of his chest.
Jeph was breathing hard by now. He decided to bury his whole family. He started with his father. Jeph got a shovel from the basement, and dragged his father upstairs. He knew there was a small cemetery around somewhere, and it would only take a few minutes to get there. Jeph dragged his father out the front door. He was heavier than he thought.
A few minutes later, Jeph had gone past the small cemetery gates and was passing all the headstones. Jeph buried his father deep in the ground, hoping he would never come back. Then went back to the house for the rest of the bodies. When he had buried the last body, he decided he couldn’t stay at his house anymore. He would stay at the tomb in the cemetery. But Jeph, even though he was going to stay at the cemetery, he was going to promise himself that no matter what, he would try to find Linda’s body in that house of his.
