Lets explore the Haunted House Posted by izzijomz Date Posted: 11/19/2009
On Halloween, kids go Trick or Treating, friends watch scary movies, and people go to parties. What do my friends and I do? We explored a Haunted House. We are not paranormal investigators nor is exploring haunted houses our hobby. We decided that we'd do something different this year, and that activity was to explore a haunted house up on a hill.
The Skyline House (Skyline was the road it was on) is an abandoned house with tons of rumors. Some say that the house is being used by the government to conduct secret experiments. Some say its the HQ of the infamous Ku Klux Klan, some say its the HQ of Devil Worshipers. More believable rumors exist too. Rumors that its the HQ of criminals and gang members or the owners moved to Europe without selling the house and didn't bother to fix it up. But of course, everyone says its haunted.
So me and five other guys (Jack, Michael, Evan, Tim, and Ben James) decided to go into the house on Halloween night. We planned to meet in front of the house at 7:00 PM. Our mission was to explore the house and leave our mark, in this case to urinate in the pool.
At 7:10 PM everyone had arrived and we walked up to the house and pulled open the door. The door didn't budge, the knob was turning but the door wouldn't move. So all six of us tugged on the door and the door still wouldn't budge. By 7:40 PM we are all sick of trying and turn to leave, but Evan stops us and points at the door which was now open. Now the smart thing to do here was to leave maybe even run, but we were adventure hungry teenagers. So we entered the house and headed for the pool.
Before we went in we promised each other that no one would chicken out and leave early. We would go in together and come out together. But not everything goes as planned.
We entered the house and discovered it was very dusty and filthy. Cobwebs were everywhere, the furniture left behind was in horrible condition. The air was heavy and musty and damp. We quickly headed towards the backyard. Once we got there we picked a spot and started to urinate.
After one minute, four of our group had gone, so it was just me and Tim left. I finished before him so I was about to leave, but I couldn't leave him so I waited for him to finish. Once he finished, I counted to 3 and we ran as fast as we could. I kicked open the door and ran outside where the other guys were waiting. I was about to make fun of them for chickening out, but then Jack asked me what happened to Tim. I was sure that he was behind me. So I assumed Tim got out after me, but everyone said I was the only one. Of course now we are all scared, and none of us had the courage to go back into the house. After about an hour, Tim finally comes out of the house; his skin was pale as snow, he's drooling, and his eyes almost rolled back, as he slowly walked out of the house.
We were all shocked and didn't know what to do, so we sat him down and gave him some air. In 30 minutes he was back to normal and we asked him a bunch of questions. Tim didn't want to talk about what happened that night until a week after the incident.
Here is Tim's Story in his perspective:
I followed James but I tripped and fell, I yelled out "James" a few times but he didn't stop. I got up as fast as I can and ran for the door, but the door got further away. I still ran until I fell again, but this time a little girl blond girl in a white dress offered a hand to help me get up. Her hands were cold as ice but she had a friendly smile. She said she would help me find a way out. So she held my hand and she led me to the upstairs and into a master bedroom. She turned around then hand gestured me to give her a ear. When I crouched she whispered something in my ears then she said her name was Elizabeth and asked for mine. When I told her "My name is Tim" she giggled and said "Bye Bye Tim visit again soon, and Thank you." and jumped out the window and I blacked out. When I woke up you guys were staring at me.
When we asked what the girl whispered to him, he said he couldn't make it out but he thinks she whispered "Be careful and don't get lost next time" or something similar to that. Visitor Rating:
