My Aunt's Old House

This happened when I was 13 years old. My friends Joel, Destiny, Samantha, Vina, Chris and I were bored. I lived right next to my aunt's old house, which was boarded up. I asked my aunt a couple of days before we went inside it, why it was boarded up. She said because it was haunted. I didn't believe her then, but I do now.

This took place on Osbourne St in Danbury Ct. You can still find the house boarded up. It's still ugly looking and this is a true story.

Since I didn't believe my Aunt, we decided(minus Chris as he left) to break in at midnight. We made sure nobody had a problem with breaking the door. We first punched the door windows, but they didn't break. Then Joel, who was very strong went and kicked the door. It cracked a little bit so Joel, Vina and I helped kicked it in. A bottom piece flew off and something from the top of the house fell on Destiny's head. She said something didn't feel right. I told her to stop being a punk.

Destiny, Vina, Joel and I went inside. Samantha stood outside to warn us if the police came. Inside there were two rooms at the top of the first stairs. There also was a basement and it was filled with bikes and tires. So we went upstairs and opened the door on the right. Inside the room it was plain and dark. Using our flashlights we saw a doll in a carriage, looking nice and comfortable. There were alot of candles and there was a kitchen knife on a dresser. We decided to leave this room because Destiny had chills. We then went to the other room {there was only one other room as I remember at my aunts house}. There was a closet in this room. The closet door creaked with the weirdest sound. Joel told Vina to stop playin, but Vina and Destiny were holding my hand. Then a white circle just flew across the room. We ran out of that house fast.

But we were still curious. Destiny, Joel and I went back in. Destiny said Tiffany don't go in the room. I asked why and she pointed at the wall. There was a knife stuck in it. It looked so clean and new. We got so scared we all left on our bikes.

I called my aunt and told her what had happened. She asked if we had went to the top floor. I said no, why? She said because if I had I wouldn't come back down. The upstairs was haunted and several people had been murdered there years ago. Thats why she had moved. I was shocked and thought to myself that maybe the knife was a warning to get out? My aunt said to never go back there. She told me to stop going into abandoned houses like that, because a spirit could enter inside me. I wonder to this day what would have happened if I'd gone upstairs?
