My best friend shot himself not too long ago. We were very close, and it tore me up. I cried for days and every night, and was even more depressed then normal.

My mom and dad went out one night, and I was sitting in their bedroom. I had a .22 in my hand and it was loaded. Yes, I was having stupid, bad thoughts. I was crying when I suddenly looked up and saw a blue orb floating in front of my eyes.

My friend was in the orb, and he told me not to worry. We planned on killing ourselves together, but he couldn't wait. He told me not to do it. He said it wasn't worth it. He apologized for leaving me, and said he wanted to be with me again. We argued about me killing myself for awhile, but finally he talked me out of it. He said he missed me and that he loved me and would watch over me.

That was three months ago. I'm still depressed, but whenever the thought even crosses my mind, he's there, and makes me feel so much better.

A week ago I came close to dying. A drunk driver swerved off the road onto my sidewalk. I pushed my brother out of the way and then couldn't move. True to his word, he was there, and pulled me out of the way.
