Nobody Will Believe Me...

My name is Austin Adams and the story you are about to hear has changed my life forever... I will not in any way try to make you believe this story. After all it is your opinion...

In the month of September, around 4 or 5:oo PM I was walking home from school. It was getting dark and the sky was turning a bright orange. The air was a little cool and the leaves on the trees were falling off. I was walking really slow, enjoying the afternoon you could say.

Out of nowhere my cell phone began to ring, awaking me from my imagination. I reached into my pocket and pulled out my phone. I flipped the top and said "Hello?" The wind began to blow and the trees started to dance, shaking off more of their leaves. "Austin...?" Said a soft voice. "Yes, who is this?" I replied.

"It's me, Josh." Said my best friend. "Oh! sorry... I didn't recognize your voice." I answered. Slowly the wind came to a stop. Everything went quiet... On my phone, all I could hear was beep beep beep beep. "He hung up." I said softly to myself. I looked up and saw a shadow quickly run across the road and into the trees. Almost human but something about the way it ran across the road was bothering me...

I ignored it at first and kept walking. Soon I walked past the trees and saw nothing was there. But then a few seconds later I heard a strange moan come from that direction. I turned around and looked back at the trees. All of a sudden there was a long and eerie howl. Now I was really spooked.

Not taking my eyes off the trees I began to walk backwards. Then I saw a hand come from out of the trees... The hand was pale. My heart was pounding and slowly a young man came out. He looked like he went through Hell and back. I was in shock and I turned around. I started to run but I kept falling down scrapping my hands on the sidewalk. The guy lifted his hands pointing at me. His jaw was halfway hanging off. Blood was everywhere, on his hands, shirt, and face.

I tried to get up but I felt weak and couldn't rise to my feet. I kicked the man in the knee, sending him to the ground. I tried to crawl away but he grabbed my leg and pulled. I screamed, trying to get somebodies attention. The man sank his upper set of teeth into my leg. The other half was dangling around just barely holding on. His eyes were Black and empty.

Blood came rushing to my skin. I pulled my leg back and kicked him right between the eyes. I looked down at my wound stumbling to my feet, picking up my bags. The man moaned and howled and I kicked him one last time breaking his nose. I ran home, not ever looking back... Till this day no one has ever believed me.
