Suzanne's Revenge

This story is about a girl named Suzanne. Suzanne despite being an orphan was very popular in her middle school. Girls were jealous of her and wondered why couldn't they be as popular? Why? when they were so rich?

It was a rainy day and Suzanne was walking home alone when she heard a group of some girls standing in a group on the side walk. They were laughing about something and talking in hushed voices. Thinking it won't be something good, Suzanne just ignored them.

Then the most snotty girl who Suzanne never had talked to, waved to her. "Come and see this", she said. Suzanne slowly walked towards her. The other girls crowded around and made red lines on her face with lipstick. They took her pictures and published them on the notice board the next day. Kids at school made all the fun they could of the poor girl.

Suzanne was absent for the rest of the week.... However, when she did come back to school she stayed quiet, always minding her own business, keeping her head down. It was a year after the incident but people still teased her about it. She was found crying during most of that year and she lost all her popularity..... Then she met this guy named Ryan.

Ryan was really nice and one of the hunks and really popular too. One day, when crossing the hall he bumped into Suzanne and all her books went crashing to the floor. He picked them up for her and said sorry. He was the first person, people had seen who had gotten a word out of Suzanne.

Eventually he discovered all about her. Knowing that he was the only person she had talked too, he sat at the same table as her one day in lunch break. He said, "Hi" to her, not sure whether she'd reply. To his relief and surprise she muttered a feeble "Hey", not really looking at him.

He tried talking to her but after a while gave up when he got half sentences as answers. He started flashing her smiles in the hallway during classes and one day she even SMILED BACK!

He talked to her often after that, never mentioning that event. One day, the teacher knowing of their friendship paired them together for a project. Ryan went to her house that day and her foster mother showed him her room and told him to wait there.

As he waited, he saw collages on her private notice board, containing pictures from parties, gatherings and sleepovers. He was surprised and yet sad for her, knowing how popular she had been... She came and smiled at him. That day they worked less on the project, more on Suzanne. She was quiet and cheerful by the time he left.

They eventually entered their senior year and by that time they had become best friends. Ryan was very fond of Suzanne but the snotty girl was still jealous, even more so because she liked Ryan herself. And as the senior prom neared, she (Sasha) meant business. She decided to play a prank on Suzanne and blame it on Ryan.

She planned to have a few guys gossip about Ryan seeing another girl, so Suzanne would get hurt. That happened on the day Ryan planned to ask Suzanne to the senior prom.

Suzanne had worn a new shirt her mum had bought her for her birthday, which was the same day. Ryan knew this and his gift for her was....himself ...for her...forever.....

Sasha's prank went as planned and Suzanne went crying to the girl's room and was not seen for the rest of the day. Ryan looked and looked for her but she had went straight home.

On her way home, she was already very sad when some punks started harassing her, one of them even molested her. She thinking that her life was not worth anything, jumped off a cliff.

Sasha was found dead three days later with red marks on her face and her lipstick lying beside her... All the girls in her group were killed one by one after that. All were found with red marks on their faces and a red lipstick lying beside them.

Ryan was going through school's old notice board reviews on a website created by students of the school. He saw Suzanne's red lined face in an old and he raher who, rather what had killed those girls.......

That day he also found a note on his table written in red lipstick. It read, "I know it wasn't you."
