The Cry..

I'm here to tell my scary story that really happened..it may not seem real scary..and its not so scary now to me..but when I think about it..and when it was happening to me it was one of the scariest things in my life...
One day my parents drove all the way to Illinois because my dad's sister was really sick. They went to see her and left my brothers in charge of me. I was about 13 years old at the time. My brother Josh had to work so his friend Peter came to pick him up and I was left with my brother Gabe and my cousin RJ, who was staying over again. We were all really bored and had nothing to do whatsoever..our cable had been turned off and our big TV wasn't working. All we had was our very small TV. Gabe and RJ decided to take a walk to the store and get some candy because they were so bored. My parents didn't know they'd leave me home alone this late and they wouldn't allow it. But my brother and cousin did so anyways. Besides I thought I was old enough to stay home alone at 10:00 at night.
When they left I turned on the small TV and chewed on a twizzler. I was bored but excited that I got to stay home alone. Then the small tv started to mess up. So I turned it off and put on some music. As crazy as it sounds, I started to dance and sing with myself and my dog Harley. Harley passed away because of kidney failure but was alive then and he jumped around with me. I guess we both danced and my cat just looked at us as if we were crazy. I went to the back room where the freezer was to get a popsicle, when I heard a cry. I couldn't tell if it was a man or women, it was just a cry out loud. It was really scary and sent chills down my spine. After that I went back and checked the TV to see if it worked, which it did. Then I sat back down and watched TV. While I ate my popsicle, I heard the wind blowing really hard, so I figured the cry was the wind. Then I got up and went to the bathroom. I left the door open as it was just me and my pets. I know it seems weird but I heard a knock. So I quickly finished and washed my hands. As I went to the front door I asked who is it..no one answered. Then I went to the kitchen to get a towel to dry my hands and the nob started to move and hard knocks started hitting the door. Then it stopped and I just stood in the kitchen standing there for 5 minutes, hoping it was the wind. Then I went and opened the door and saw nothing. I turned off the TV and sat down thinking when I heard the loudest cry ever. I was scared. When I finished my popsicle, I went back to get more and I heard a loud bang against the back window. But there was nothing visibly there..when I looked again it was a duck..it was so weird. Why would a duck be in my backyard, especially at this time of night? When I went back to the living room I heard the cry again and then the front door started to knock and the knob started to move. When I kept asked who it was, the cry got louder and it sounded as if it was right on the otherside of the door. But it sounded like it started to turn evil. When I looked through the window I saw a dark figure. Then I was really really scared!! So I tried to call my brother on his cell but no matter what he wouldn't pick up. So I took a kitchen knife and a bat with my cat and dog in all to the bathroom and locked us in there..I started to cry out of fear which seems crazy and you probably think I'm weird but if you were there you'd understand. I sat in the bathroom for a whole hour until I heard my brother and cousin open the door. I then ran out and they asked why I had all the stuff with me. I told them, but they laughed at me and called me a wimp. The next day they told all my family and they laughed about it..I decided to laugh about it to..until at night when I went to bed I saw a dark figure near my window..I went under the covers..so I wouldn't be able to see anything..but still I heard..the cry..
