The Demon Within

One time my family had a family reunion with both sides of my family- my moms and dads. I was happy because I got to see my cousins Elysia, Emily, Breanna, and Richard. But there was one kid I didn't recognize. A boy standing in the corner. "Hey, who is that?" I asked my cousins from my mom's side. "I don't know he's probably from your dad's side" They replied. "Hmm. probably. well lets go talk to him." I said nervously. "Hi" I said. "what's your name?" I asked in a friendly manor, but he just looked at me. "ok do you wanna go -'Bobby...'" he said interrupting me. "What?" I asked confused. "My name is Bobby" he said. "Oh. cool. so do you wanna walk to the ice-cream store with us?" I asked. "No" he said with a snotty attitude and walked away and sat in the dark. "Well whatever" I replied also in a snotty way.

That night my relatives stayed at my house. Even the creepy Bobby kid. At 2:00 in the morning my cousins Elysia and Breanna woke me up because they heard a weird noise. "It's probably just Baby-Cat." I said drowsily, but then I remembered that we took Baby-Cat to my friend's house because my aunt Lorlei is allergic. "Well ok." I said. As we crept downstairs I could hear a voice kind of singing, more like chanting. "I'm scared!" said my cousin Breanna. "SHHH!" I said. "what if it's a robber?" my cousin Elysia asked. "well we'll have to find out" I said. When we got to the living room we noticed it was further down in the Basement. "Hey nobody slept in the basement" I said in a scared voice. "It's WAY to dark" said Elysia. I'll get a flashlight" I said. "no!" said Breanna. "then he'll know we're coming!"

When we got to the stairway we could see a light coming from the basement. When we got to the bottom we could see, sitting on the floor, the creepy Bobby kid. "HEY!" I said as I turned on the lights. "why are you down here?!" I asked angrily. "homa ku kazi as gracha mu nocka!" he said as he looked at us in an evil way. "is-is he speaking... in tongues?" I asked.

But then Bobby flew up on the ceiling! "RACHA NUKI JANA TO ISTUE!" he yelled in a demented voice. "JUNA- DRANU- KILO- HAKY- OPAK- LUCIFER!" he said. "RELEASE MY DWELLERS INTO THE WORLD" by this time we were halfway to the stairway, when a clawed hand grabbed my cousin Breanna's leg. "HELP!!" she yelled in a deathly high tone. Thinking quickly I grabbed anything hard and threw it at the creature. He screeched so horrifically it sounded like 40 children being tortured.

I was puzzled until I realized what it was I had thrown. A bible. I grabbed it and started reading a mysteriously marked page. LUKE 1:42 26- And the Lord cometh to the devil and screamed ‘evil will not consume the goodness of a heart- earth is full of evil that is consumed by goodness. Thee demons of hell be gone back to your dwelling and let all sinners be condemned to a life of hell- BE GONE’” and out of nowhere the demons vanished.

There now lay a limp boy. “I think it’s over” said Breanna. “are you okay” I asked the limp body. “Maybe we should ask the adults to help him” said Elysia. But then Bobby grabbed Breanna’s leg and disappeared into the hard concrete floor. Elysia and I were so traumatized we never told ANYONE what happened - until today. I still don’t go into the basement alone.
