The Friendly Ghost

When I was a child, I had this tall bunk bed that I had to share with my sister. I slept on the top, and everynight I would see a woman appear in my room. She was tall, with long, dark wet hair. She wore a pale blue gown, and her face was remarkably pale.
She would talk to me, but I forgot what she said. I thought it was all my imagination back then, but now I realize it wasn't.
One day, I sat in my room writing a short poem. Suddenly, music blasted behind me. I turned around, to find my radio on. (It was under my bed, unplugged because I never used it.) I ran out of my room, nearly scared to death.
Some nights, I hear mysterious taps on the wall. Every time I look in the direction of the tap, it starts to tap in another direction.
The oddest thing I have seen happened this one evening. I was walking into the living room, when I found my mother standing at the doorway with her hair over her shoulder. It took me a moment to realize this wasn't my mother. It was the woman with the pale blue gown. I heard a long, blood curling scream, then nothing. She disappeared before my very eyes.
Every once in a while now I see her. She'll walk across the kitchen at nighttime. She tickles my feet when I sleep. Sometimes she'll even stand behind me when I'm on the computer, and watch what I type.
I know very few things about her. All I know is that she hates music, because she has a habit of turning my ipod off late at night when I'm listening to it. She tends to watch me brush my hair after I take a shower. I feel like she's my friend. Visitor Rating:
