the smell of death..
Posted by DEADlightS
Date Posted: 07/19/2005

Certain things in life you can never forget, like when I was nine years old I remember coming home from school to a foul odor it was death my grandmother had passed on while watching the Beverly Hill Billies on TV. Well I had to go to counseling to get over discovering my Granny dead but soon got over it until my third year at Northwestern University. I was in the library studying and I lost track of time the Librarian must have announced closing but I was too into my studies to hear. Now the lights were shut off and it began to get really cold. I gathered my books and went to the doors they were locked from the outside brrrr i can see my breath its freezing in here I thought. I went to the phone to call campus security so they can let me out as I picked up the reciever a wave of nausea hit me I knew right away why it was that smell the same smell when I found my granny it was death. I felt a cold hand on my shoulder so cold it chilled my bones and turned around but no one was there. I saw an exit sign in the distance and hoped there was another way out so I ran and ran and ran ..when I got to the exit the smell was very strong and I couldn't get the door to open so I began to kick the door with all my might it flung open and there was the librarian but she was headless that is her head was in her hands and I passed out. I woke up in the hospital the police say a mad man came in the library and decapitated the librarian then they told me how smart I was for hiding in the book elevator until They could rescue me but didn't understand how I could have fallin to sleep with all that was going on. When I told them what really happened and that the dead librarian must have hidden me in the book depository they laughed, told me I was in shock, and called the nurse to give me more medication. This is a true story but Only I Believe What Really Happened!
