The Three Warnings Posted by freakdud Date Posted: 08/07/2010
Me and my friend Liz loved to go ghost hunting. We would find it fun and harmless... until one night.
We bought all the ghost hunting gear, EMs, speakers and other bits and bobs. Me and Liz were driving along in Pennsylvania when we saw a creepy old abandoned hospital. So... we went to check out the weird old hospital.
Right when we entered... I wanted to get straight out. I mean it was freezing in there and it was so creepy. It wasn't like any hospital I'd ever seen; it had little bloodstained rooms, where they would cage people into (insane people).
We only stayed there for a while, until some sort of shadow smashed into me, it made almost made me fall over, right at that moment we darted out of the hospital. Without looking back, we slammed the doors of my car and rode back to Liz's house. (I’ve been living in Liz’s house after mine was torn down). Me and Liz just cracked up after we came back, but… I didn’t really find it that funny. That shadow and the hospital scared the crap out of me!
We had three dogs, Baby, Muffin and Jersey. They were all really friendly and everything. They wouldn’t chase anyone for any reason.
Me, Liz and her parents started arguing, and I mean about EVERYTHING, even though we were only 18. We couldn’t sit in one room for even two minutes without getting into a HUGE argument about something only a 3 year old would argue about.
But then, I noticed something. These arguments only happened after we returned from the Hospital. Me and Liz decided to research the hospital, and we discovered some pretty creepy news. They didn't only keep insane people in there, but they kept normal, sick people there. Now about three days after the new patient arrived at the hospital, they brutally and painfully murdered them, in front of all the other staff. This happened to just about every single patient.
We decided to revisit the hospital and check it out again. On the way, we met up with of PPA (Pennsylvania Paranormal Agents) and they were heading to the hospital to, so, we both tagged together and headed inside.
When they laid out all their stuff, they had way more things than we did, and they had way more hi-tech things. We did so many things but then again, we were calmer with the professionals with us. Right before we were about to leave, the last thing I expected to see happened, Liz said with tears in her eyes "Our house, is haunted."
And right after that moment we went back to our house and to the basement, and laid out ghost boxes. A ghost box records reading from the spirits and puts them into English. After about ten minutes of eerie silence, the ghost box said
"Get the dogs out". That really spooked us out, but no one said anything.
"Who is this spirit telling me to get my dogs out of my house?" I thought. Around 5 seconds later, it said "furnace fire".
Mrs. Jackson said “Will there be a furnace fire?”
“Yes” The ghost box replied. “Get out before the furnace fire”
We all just sat there, waiting for something else to happen. We were about to go back, when the ghost box said “burglary…” I’d had enough of this ghost box.
“Will someone be killed during the burglary?” Asked Mrs. Jackson
“Yes” The ghost box replied, and we all thought it was going to be Mrs. Jackson.
We all headed outside and the PPA left our home. The next couple of days went fine, until the dogs started biting each other. They never had before and now they were just mashing holes into each other, and they wouldn’t stop. So we started keeping them in different rooms, but Baby wouldn’t eat or drink anything.
We took Baby to the vet, but he said nothing and indicated that he was fine. A few days later, Baby died.
Everything was normal for the next couple of days, until one night I came home and it was boiling hot inside and I could smell black smoke from the basement and what I saw was unbelievable. The furnace's lid was taken off, and it was on fire. I quickly grabbed some water and sprayed it onto the fire. Right at that moment, I remembered that the ghost box said that there would be a furnace fire.
If I hadn’t gotten to it sooner, the whole house would’ve caught on fire. Scared of someone dying in a burglary, we asked our good friend Scott to live at our house for a while. He said he would, Liz and Scott slept downstairs. The good thing was, that Scott brought a vicious German Shepherd with him, but he got along with us OK.
"Sometimes I saw Scott literally sprint up the steps, and slam into the door, because he was so scared that he saw something, that really made me worried about Scott” Liz explained. Scott eventually decided that he didn’t want to live here anymore, and that he had had enough.
Still, no burglary had occurred and we thought everything was safe… until we received a call. The police said that Scott's house had been broken into, and he had been shot in the head, point blank. Visitor Rating:
