The Woman at the window

now this is a true story and scared the heck out of me and my friends we dont talk about it till this day.im not gonna give real names so im gona just say differant ones.
im sam and my friend is jenny and elen

okay well 1 year ago jenny and i were at my house just playing some gamecube, and elen was reading a magazine. and then jenny hears some noise and gets freaked out.
well we were home alone and didnt know what it was. so we decided to just leave it alone.
But then 45 min. lata we hear it again. it was a scratching sound coming from the backyard. well we have like a cellar outside and it has metal doors. and we keep on hearing tapping and scratching on it. so we were stupid and decided to check it out. well all of a sudden we see a dark figure out the window and it was looking into into a differant window. and we all started freakingg out and huddled together when ellen got brave and looked out the window and saw that the dark figure was gone. we all sighed in relief and chilled out. about 10 minutes later jenny had to go the bathroom. after a while we heard her scream the loudest we have ever heard her scream. she ran out crying and hugged us tighlty and yelled out CALL THE POLICE!!!! Then i went in with a bat and saw that the mirror had cracked. there was absolutely nothing there, i go to jenny and tell her that there was nothing there. she swore that she saw a woman looking back at her through the mirror. but then she said the creepyist thing, her eyes turend white and she started mumbling weird sayings like "i want it...give it back to me!" then here eyes went normal. and thats when i hit the mirror. the glass shatterd everywhere and then we heard it again. Give it back to me its mine!!!!me and ellen were just like whoa sumthing happened to her. after a while we all went to my room and started talking when my mom came home,she went upstairs and started talking to us and was qwestioning us about the broken mirroe. of course we dont tell her the truth, we told her we were playing hide and go seek in the dark and we hit the mirror on accident. that when my mom goes to the upstairs bathroom and discovers that all our decoration are missing. after 2 days we started realising that all of our religous symbols had gone missing and we have a lot of artifacts. one day ppl were re-tiling the kithchen and i had to sleep in the basement when i heard a voice saying"give it give it" i thought it was just me but when i opened my eyes i saw a woman standing at the foot of my bed. i ran all the way upstairs and told my parennts, of course they didnt believe me. this hapened for a few months. after a year we moved and thats when we found out that our old house was a funeral home, but what my parents didnt no was that i wasnt lying about the woman so i decided to research it and found out that in the early 1900's a women (unnamed) lived in that house used as a funeral home and mourge with her husband and 2 children (the kids were in there 20's) and that while the husband was down in the mourge the children were cooking and started a fire. but the husband didnt hear it. the wife was gone shopping. well the kids got free but sadly the husband didnt. the house burns down and sadly the husband dies. all of her husbands belongings had been saved but taken by the kids. the wife dies 5 years later but not knowing that the belongings were saved. a couple of years later they rebuilded the house and the children share it , they put the belongings in the cellar butmoved 2 years later because they say that it was haunted. and the belongings were still in the cellar while we lived there. so now whenever i pass our old house i feel a warmth in the air but i think its not bad.i feel the pressents of the woman like she has found what she was looking for. i think it was her husband and his belongings.
