When a Stranger calls ......

You all may of heard of this story as an urban legend, but Iam not kidding, this is a real, true story.

A babysitter was babysitting two kids on a Friday night. It was a little after 9:00pm, so she put the two kids upstairs to sleep. Now, at 9:45pm, she decides to watch some T.V. The phone rings at 10:00. She answered it, and all she heard was a man's wild laughter. She dismissed as a prank. About 5 minutes later, the phone rings again. She hears the same man laughing hyserically, but this time he says," I'll be right there ". The babysitter still thinking it was a prank said," This isn't funny ", the man hung up, and she only heard a dial tone. 3 minutes later, the phone rang again. " I'll be there real soon now", and the man laughs wildly again. The babysitter, now scared, again heard the dial tone. She quickly called the operator. She told her what happened, and how the man was freaking her out. The operator told her to hang up, and if the man calls again, she will trace the call, and tell her where it's coming from. The Babysitter agreed, and hung up. No sooner than she put the phone down, when the man called again," Iam so close now,so close ". The man now laughed more wildly and crazy than the babysitter ever heard before and hung up. The babysitter, terrified, waited about 2 seconds when the operator called back with the chilling message. " Get out of that house! I'll call the police, the call is coming from the upstairs extension!" The babysitter ran to the front door she tried as quick as she could to open the multiple locked door when she heard a door upstairs open. She saw a shadowy figure upstairs and heard the footsteps on the stairs. The figure was about a foot away from her when she finnaly unlocked the last lock and tore out of the house. The police arrived just in time. The call the babysitter was recieving was coming from the upstairs extension of the house. The man who was making the calls upstairs was found with a butcher knife. Thankfully, the children where not harmed. When the man was put in the police car, he turned to the babysitter and said. " Call you later ". She heard his hysterical laugh until the car was far away. So be careful, and remember this story, when a stranger calls.....
